What Postava is

Postava is a Pomodoro focus timer that also tracks your posture in real time using the motion sensors built into compatible AirPods. It’s designed to help you build better focus and posture habits.

Postava is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Its posture readings are an estimate based on head position relative to a baseline you set — not a clinical measurement of your spine or overall posture. Don’t rely on it for medical decisions. If you have health concerns about your posture or back, talk to a qualified professional.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Postava.

Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use Postava for personal, lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, resell, or tamper with the app
• Not misuse the app in ways that could harm the service or other users

Subscriptions and payments

Postava is free to download and includes a free core timer. Some features require a premium subscription.

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account.
• Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings.
• Prices may vary by region and may change over time; we’ll communicate changes where required.

Refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policies — we can’t issue refunds directly.

Your data

Your posture and session data is stored locally on your device and is private to you. How we handle the limited data we do process is described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability and changes

We’re an indie project, building in the open. That means:

• We may update, change, or remove features over time.
• We aim for reliability but can’t guarantee the app will always be available or error-free.
• Posture tracking depends on your AirPods and iOS working as expected, and on background conditions outside our control.

Intellectual property

Postava, its name, design, and content are owned by the developer (HodlApps). These Terms don’t grant you any ownership rights — just a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app.

Disclaimer and liability

Postava is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any reliance on its posture readings.

Termination

You can stop using Postava anytime by deleting it. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing here limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection laws in your own country.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, notifying users.
